Workshops
The cost of the workshop includes entry to the Park so you can enjoy the 2km walk before or after the workshop. Or, stop and enjoy the refreshments found at the Roosting Ruru Cafe located by the Artist shelter.
The workshops will be run in the Ruru Barn located up by the Rock garden

Creative stitching inspired by “Boro”

Pip is an art teacher, a museum educator, a textile artist and a collector of Japanese Boro. She has also taught hand and machine embroidery. The exhibition of her collection Boro: Timeworn Textiles of Japan has been touring throughout New Zealand, and is currently at Tūhura Otago Museum. In conjunction with this, Pip has been running creative sashiko stitching workshops and giving talks on Boro.
