Taonga means treasure of prized possession in Maori culture. Each design captures a little something to be treasured, the places, nature and icons that make Aotearoa so special.
Creating beautiful and meaningful Taonga (jewellery) inspired by our rich cultural heritage that makes Aotearoa, New Zealand so special.Our treasures are crafted with fine brass, plated with Sterling Silver or Gold and then coated with a special tarnish resistance, to ensure it remains beautiful and protected from the elements and everyday wear. They are hypoallergenic and nickel free and packaged in a cute little eco-friendly glass bottle with a cork lid.Little Taonga treasures are designed by Ngāi Tahu and Rangitāne artist, Cezanne Lyons, drawing inspiration from her culture and love for Aotearoa. Cezanne lives in Mangamaunu, a picturesque coastal settlement just north of Kaikōura, where much of her inspiration comes from being surrounded by spectacular nature, wildlife, and rich culture.
