Situated by the Artist shelter overlooking the duck pond the Roosting Ruru Café provides refreshments for our visitors.
Enjoy Volare treats, Ozone coffee and Zealong tea while you stop and recap on your visit to the park. Gather friends and family and enjoy a coffee and cake or a light lunch.
We have Gluten-free and Vegetarian options available.
Or, if you feel like an ice-cream treat we have Duck Island Ice cream available as well as cold drinks.

Duck Island ice cream is a Waikato based company who have created and founded by chefs and ice cream enthusiasts in 2015.
They have crafted an ice cream for “everyone” with an extensive dairy free/vegan ice creams as well as a range of gluten free and allergy considerate options, so no one misses out.
