Our Team

The Sculpture Park is 17.5 hectares of trees, rock formations, waterways and green zones with over 100 sculptures all nestled in amongst the planting.

Our team of full and part time staff are all passionate about the property and providing a unique and wonderful experience to our visitors.

Meet Yotum

Yotum is passionate about trees and trained to be a arborist so you will often find him “up” a tree.

Yotum has a huge thirst for knowledge and loves to meet people to talk about nature and conservation.

Meet Silke

Silke is a mum, a trained nurse and an avid artist in the making.

Silke and her family are very focused on the environment and moved to New Zealand from Sweden.

Meet Suzie

Suzie is a lover of people, places and all things nature.

She welcomes guests to the park and also does the marketing on the website.

She also runs the Roosting Ruru cafe and events at the park.

Meet Gemma

gemma has a strong background in all things creative.  As a practicing printmaker and illustrator gemma loves engaging with all aspects of the arts alongside encouraging creativity in others.  This creativity is combined with an awareness of how special our environment is and a drive to promote environmental engagement.

Meet Owen

Owen is the head gardener and keeps the place looking good.

He is a lover of good coffee and knows all about plants and gardens.

He is always available for a chat when you visit the park.

Meet Shaa

Shaahs path has been in the healing Arts… from Craniosacral Therapy, Drum making, Somatic practices, and Yin yoga.

Shaa will welcome you to the park and enrich your experience.
