In the early 1990's Jill returned to her lifelong love - painting - having been a pupil of Colin McCahon and others at Elam in the sixties. Travel, raising a family, and working in educational publishing preoccupied her for several decades, until her first small local exhibition in Lopdell House Titirangi in 1997. This show featured her recurring theme - Auckland"s west coast. Since then Jill has gone on to win awards and feature in many exhibitions.
